At Crann Grá, we never use synthetic chemical fertilizers. Instead, we rely on the West of Ireland’s natural bounty: seaweed. Cold-processed liquid seaweed extract is a powerhouse of micronutrients, natural growth hormones, and trace elements that strengthen plants from the roots up.
Unlike chemical fertilizers, which provide a quick burst of nitrogen but wash away easily and deplete soil biology, seaweed feed nourishes the beneficial microbes in the soil. It acts as a soil builder, improving structure and water retention. Regular watering with seaweed feed helps our plants develop high resistance to pests, disease, and weather stress—essential for surviving the damp North West climate.
