Lemon Balm (*Melissa officinalis*) is a bushy perennial herb with textured, bright green leaves that release a lemon scent when bruised. It is used for herbal teas, cooking, and natural aromatherapy.
It is very easy to grow, thriving in partial shade or full sun. Like mint, it is a member of the Lamiaceae family and can spread, though it spreads via seed rather than runners.
